These terms cover your use of this website, any enquiry you send through it and any call to the number it shows. By using the site you agree to them, so please read them before you send an enquiry.

What This Service Is

Windows and Doors Birmingham takes enquiries about windows, doors and conservatories from homeowners in Birmingham and nearby, and passes each one to an independent local installer. We are not a window or door company. We don't make, supply, survey or fit anything, we employ no installers, and we don't act as agent for any business.

The Cost to You

Using the service is free, whether or not you accept the quote you receive. We may be paid by the installer for the introduction. Prices for any work are set by the installer alone.

No Checks on Installers

We don't inspect, approve or guarantee any installer that receives an enquiry, and passing on your details is not a recommendation. Before signing, you can run your own checks using how to choose an installer.

Your Contract Is with the Installer

If you decide to go ahead, the contract is between you and the installer. Windows and Doors Birmingham is not a party to it and has no say over the price, the products, the guarantee, the timing or the standard of the work.

Any claim about the work is made against the installer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a trader must carry out a service with reasonable care and skill, and what the trader tells you about the service can form part of the contract.

Cancelling an Order

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 usually give you 14 days to cancel a contract signed away from the trader's premises, such as at your kitchen table. Made-to-measure windows, doors and conservatories are usually exempt from that right, even when the contract is signed at home, because they're built to your measurements. Some installers offer a voluntary cooling-off period, so ask what applies before you sign, not after.

General Information on This Site

The guides and area pages are general information. They are not advice about your home, and the prices in the cost guides are typical ranges, not quotes. The Disclaimer page explains this further.

Our Liability

We accept no responsibility for any installer's work, products, quotes, advice, delays or conduct, or for losses caused by relying on the general information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Using the Site Fairly

Please don't submit false enquiries, harvest other people's details, or try to interfere with how the site runs. Enquiries that seem to break these terms may not be followed up.

Other Websites

We link to councils, government departments and other bodies where it helps. We have no control over those sites and aren't responsible for their content.

Changes and Governing Law

We may revise these terms from time to time; the dated version on this page is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute about them belongs before the courts of England and Wales.

Windows and Doors Birmingham is an enquiry service. Your enquiry goes to one independent installer, who measures up and quotes for the work themselves; we don't sell, fit or guarantee anything, and we don't vouch for the installer. How we are paid.
